Regulated banking UIs — where performance and maintainability aren’t optional.

I’m a senior frontend engineer working mostly in React, TypeScript, and Next.js. For 12+ years I’ve been building applications for retail banks in Poland and the Nordics — UniCredit, Fana Sparebank, and Nordea — the kind of platforms where performance and maintainability actually matter.

Day to day that’s microfrontends, Nx monorepos, and design systems. I shipped a component library adopted across 10 domains (40% faster feature work), cut load times by 30% with code-splitting and SSR/SSG, and led a 50-module Next.js migration from JavaScript to TypeScript. I care about code review and mentorship, and I use Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to move faster — without getting sloppy.
